Which is the Sample Size (n)? Statistics Question?

I am given a table for a problem on my homework, where I have to find the confidence Intervals for a proportion using Z. I am given that in a certain state (Tennessee), the count for men is 1,134,606, the count for women is 875,804, and in total cumulatively, there are 2,010,410 people in said state.

Misc Info is that the population (AKA U.S. Population) is 57,209,198 Men, 42,779,194 Women, and 99.988.392 cumulative.

Which in the above is the sample size when I am trying to find the Confidence Interval for the men? Do I plug in the 1,134,606 or do I plug in the 2,010,410 for Sample Size? Thank you in advance!
