Physics: momentum of a parachutist?

A parachutist of mass 80 kg descends to the ground at a steady speed of 4m/s. When he hits the ground he bends his knees and takes 0.25s to come to rest. Calculate:

a) his momentum just before he hits the ground.
b) his change in momentum during the landing.
c) the force exerted on him by the ground during the collision.

d) What could the parachutist do to make the force exerted on him by the ground smaller? Explain why this would decrease the force.
