1.    DSS is an interactive computer based system: DSS work with computer, hardware and software. It can facilitate in drawing out the answer for the problems rather than direct solutions to the problems.

2.    DSS work at unstructured problems: DSS applied at unstructured problems decision making. Because, the ambiguity of taking faults decision are more in the unstructured decision conditions. So, the DSS has been utilized.

3.    DSS is an interactive system: DSS is the interactive computer system between the user, machine, database and data models. There is dialogue between the user and the system to evaluate and assess the best alternative for decision making.
