Help with marketing homework

So this is a semester long project and my "startup" is a waste management company for apartment complexes. We are doing market research now. The question is:



Generally, what brands & logos do you think appeal to your customers, why?



My customers are solely apartment managers/owners. He threw this in there when I asked for clarification.



This question is really asking where your customers are shopping. I’m thinking your customer is apartment managers. Are these managers shopping at Walmart or Target? What appeals to them?



How can I find this out? This seems like such a hard question to answer!
