Sociology question on Marx?

I am meeting with a sociology prof to discuss these questions, can anybody help me prepare? I have looked at some answers, however I want him to be impressed.



1) Outline using your own examples, the various components underlying Marx's theory of alienation. Explain how this might be related to our a) materialistic society?b) to the "occupy movement:? Does Marx's analysis give a sufficient explanation of this movement, or is something missing? Give examples



OR



2) Using Marx's concepts to illustrate, outline the social organization, contradictions, and social factors driving the evolution from pre-class societies to capitalism.



Anything would be greatly appreciated.
