Help with Statistics Question?

This is a problem that I made up for my statistics class. I am to create a 95% confidence interval based on the mock problem I created.

Saftey101, is a company that produces airbags for a vehicle company called 4Wheels. It has been hypothesized that since in the last 5 years, 30 cars have been reported to have their airbags fail to release upon impact, that the airbags being produced do not fit the safety requirements.

Saftey101took 100 new cars with their airbags that had not been in an accident yet, and conducted a safety protocol experiment. The 100 new cars were crashed into a wall to see if the air bags would deploy upon impact. Here are the results:

Of the 100 cars, there were 3 cars that failed to deploy upon impact.

Create a 95% confidence interval that the airbags will deploy at the correct time.

I am getting really weird numbers when I plug the info in, is it because of what I chose as my numbers?

Step by step explanation of how to do this problem for a 95% confidence interval would be appreciated.
