A block of mass 5 kg is released from rest to slide down a slope inclined at 60 degrees with a coefficient of friction of .25. At the bottom of the slope (2 m below the mass's start measured along the spring)is a spring of spring constant 1500 N/m.

a) What is the maximum compression of the spring?

b) How much energy will be lost to the work friction at this point?
