1.1 Calculate the energies in eV of the first 6 allowed states for an electron in an infinite square well of width L = 0.2 nm. (Partial answer E1=9.4 eV, E2= 37.6 eV ...) 

1.2 Write down expressions for ψn(x) for n = 1….to 6. 

1.3 Discuss how the energies of the first 6 allowed states might change from those in part (1.1) above if the well was not infinite but finite with a depth of 300 eV
