Parental true-breeding blue-flowered plants were mated with true-breeding white-flowered plants. All of the F1 offspring had white flowers. When the F1 plants were mated with each other, the following were the numbers of offspring in the F2 generation: 
1307 with white flowers 
298 with blue flowers 

a) Provide a hypothesis to explain the inheritance of flower color in these crosses. 

b) Based on your hypothesis, what was the genotype of the blue-flowered P plants? 

c) Based on your hypothesis, what was the genotype of the F1 plants?
