In cattle the polled (hornless) condition is dominant over the horned phenotype. A polled bull is bred to three cows. Cow A is horned and the union produces a horned calf. When mated with cow B, which is polled, a horned calf is produced. Cow C is horned and gives birth to a polled calf.

a) What are the genotypes of the bull and three cows?

b) What phenotypic ratios do you expect in the offspring of these three matings?
