A uniform cylinder of mass 90kg and radius 0.4 m is mounted so that it turns without friction on its fixed symmetry axis. It is rotated by a drive belt that wraps around its perimeter and exerts a constant torque. At time t = 0, its angular velocity is zero. At time t = 25s, its angular velocity is 500 rev/min.
A. What s its angular momentum at t = 25s?
B. At what rate is the angular momentum increasing?
C. What is the torque acting on the cylinder?
D. What is the magnitude of the frictional force acting on the rim of the cylinder?
