With the exception of rare and random mutations of the DNA code, explain in detail how any species can either adapt or completely change primary features without having any ability to change their original DNA code. Be sure to include any citations or references for any supporting scientific studies. Also explain why different species that are believed to be closely related to another species have a different number of chromosomes. Wouldn't the different number of chromosomes be evidence that there was no evolutionary connection in the past between various different species?
