1.50 grams of butane (C4H10(g), ΔHf° = –125.6 kJ/mol) is completely combusted in the presence of excess oxygen. Assume that all the heat produced goes into heating a cylindrical plate of aluminum (d = 2.70 g/cm3) that is 2.00 cm thick and 10.0 cm wide. If the initial temperature of the plate is 25.0 °C, what is the final temperature? If the resulting water were collected in liquid form (assume a density of 1.00 g/cm3) and 0.100 g of CaCl2 were dissolved in it, what would be the molarity of Cl–?

Determine the temp. change and final temp. using specific heat. Answer?

Find the volume of liquid water produced, in L?

Find the number of moles of Cl1. Answer?

Update: *Find the number of moles of Cl-?
