What is the best truss for compression?

I am working on a bridge for tech. class and I am receiving a grade based off of efficiency. These bridges are made from thin 3/32 in. balsa wood sticks and they are small bridges (about a forearm long). The weight will be placed off of a chain hanging from the top of the bridge. The two truss' I found to be the best with compression were the Warren and Pratt designs. Which one should I use? And if it is the Warren should I put vertical sticks within each triangle. And for joints should I make a gusset join? And should I use super glue (lighter but not sure it will hold) or wood glue?
