Magnetic Flux

Magnetic flux is the total number of lines of force comprising the magnetic field. In R.M.K.S.A or SI unit system unit north pole i.e. north pole of strength of one Weber is supposed to radiate out the flux of one Weber. It is represented by symbol θ  and is measured in webers.

Flus emanated from north pole of strength m webers = m Wb

Magnetic flux density

Magnetic flux density is the flux pasing per unit area through any material through a plane at right angle s t the direction of flux. It is represented by B and is measured in teslas (Wb/m2)

i.e.    B = θ .
