Bernoulli’s equation is based on Euler’s theory of fluid flow and it obtained by integrating the Euler’s equation of motion.

∂P / ρ + g dz + v dz = 0

Integrating

  ∫ ∂P / ρ + ∫ g dz + ∫ v dv = Constant

For incompressible flow ρ is constant.

P/ρ + gz + V2/2 = Constant

P / ρg + z + V2/2g = Constatn

This equation is called as Bernoulli’s equation.
